Motor Vehicle
The UK automotive industry is a vital part of the UK economy, and is an increasingly vital part of every-day life. The number of registered cars in the United Kingdom has increased over the past five years, driven by an increase in new car sales. Although new cars tend to require fewer repairs, the greater number of cars on UK roads has nevertheless stimulated demand for industry services. New car sales are forecast to fall in the short term, which is likely to boost demand for repairs and maintenance.
Drawing on the expertise of industry-experienced lecturers, you will train in our first-class workshops and have the opportunity to carry out hands-on practical work on real vehicles. Working on a range of petrol/diesel cars and light vans, you will be introduced to the skills used in the wholesale and retail trade, from repairing and maintaining vehicles to carrying out corrections to minor paint defects and full vehicle resprays. You’ll find no faults studying Motor Vehicle at Trafford College.
