The equine industry is huge in the UK and is more varied than almost any other sector either within agriculture or in the wider leisure industry. The equine industry economic value currently stands at £4.7 billion, which has increased by almost 4% since 2015 and is expected to continue to rise. With a potential career as a vet, riding instructor, farrier, jockey or groom this sector is bursting with opportunity.
Working in partnership with Carrington Riding Centre, you will learn in a real working environment studying not only horse care, but the science of animal and plant biology to ensure that you cover the full range of skills and knowledge for a career in animal care and beyond.
