A Levels

Our designated Sixth Form Centre is home to our A Level Programme and our Full Time GCSE Programme.

We offer 15 subjects at A Level, 13 of which had 100% pass rates in 2019; they are taught by specialist teachers, many of whom are examiners in their subject. At the end of their two-year course 90% of our students’ progress in education, most to University but also to Art College and Higher Apprenticeships. Former students always tell us that their time in College was the ideal preparation for University, offering a high level of support and increasing the independence needed to be successful in higher education.

An A Level programme offers you a very flexible choice to combine your favourite subjects from school with an opportunity to pick up new subjects like Psychology and Criminology.

GCSE Programme

This programme is followed by a variety of learners who have not had the opportunity to sit GCSEs in the past or who were unable to show their true potential first-time round. These learners benefit from the facilities of the Sixth Form Centre and our support to improve their achievements. Students study Maths, English and at least one Science subject as a core part of their learning with a range of other subjects available according to progression needs.
